Carolyn Richardson

Children's House Assistant

BS, Wildlife Conservation and Biology from the University of Rhode Island

Carolyn Richardson is a Children’s House Assistant at Greenspring Montessori School.

Prior to joining our team, Carolyn served as a Children’s House Assistant at Apple Ridge Montessori School in Catonsville, MD for five years. She worked alongside our own Lydia Farmer, where she fell in love with the Montessori philosophy. She then spent two years as a floating assistant in the pre-primary program at Friends School of Baltimore. She was eager to join our community and continue her Montessori practice at the Children’s House level.

Carolyn enjoys gardening, baking, crossfit, and spending time outdoors with her daughter, husband, and family dog. Carolyn is a Master Gardener of Baltimore county class of 2016 and has taken the Howard County Bee Association class. She is passionate about our environment, wildlife, and helping children learn about plants and all things in nature, especially ones native to Maryland.
