Athletics

The mission of our Athletics program is to enable each student to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to lead an active, healthy lifestyle. In other words, we hope that what they learn through this program will help to keep each child active throughout their lives.

Greenspring Montessori School offers a variety of after-school athletics for its students. Programs are offered seasonally in the fall, winter, and spring, and are always responsive to parent and student interest.

In order to continue to offer quality programs, we require a fee for all classes and activities offered. This fee goes toward equipment, supplies, uniforms, coaches and referees, and transportation costs, depending on the program. The full amount of your registration will be added to your FACTS account once your registration in the programs has been confirmed and we have determined that there are enough students signed up to run the program.

To learn more about our programs, please email our Athletic Director, Liz Hamilton, at ehamilton@greenspringmontessori.org.

In the spring, we will offer Track & Field for our Upper Elementary and Adolescent students, as well as sports clinics for our Children’s House, Elementary, and Adolescent students.
