We invite you to come and visit our school to learn more about the Montessori method, our historic campus, and the unique learning community that exists at Greenspring Montessori School! If you are considering applying or are curious about the school, this is your first step. Throughout the school year, we offer many different ways for your family to visit the campus. Ways To Visit:
Information Sessions are designed for the parents that may not know much about a Montessori education. This hour and a half session begins with a presentation on the various aspects of the Montessori educational philosophy, and concludes with a tour of the campus. This is a parent only event.
Observation mornings are your opportunity to see our classes in action. You will not only have an opportunity to see the grade your child would be entering but parents will also see the two subsequent levels. Parents spend 5-10 minutes in three different classrooms and then we will gather at the conclusion of the classroom visits to have a Q&A session.
Join us for a tour of our campus while having a free-flowing conversation about our program. Most tours are conducted individually and you are welcome to bring your children. Tours typically last 25-45 minutes depending on your familiarity of the Montessori model. Tours can be scheduled by calling Stephen Abrams, Director of Admissions, at 410-321-8555 x104.
Our Open House is hosted once a year in November and is an opportunity for the entire family to visit our campus. You will have a chance to meet with Guides from each level, and your children will have an opportunity to navigate the classroom, participate in lessons, and gain familiarity with our campus!
