Greenspring Montessori School offers academic programs for children ages 18 months of age through 8th grade. Montessori is a continuum of education that allows your child to build upon her experiences from year to year and from one level to the next. Concepts, materials, and core principles are carried throughout all levels of Montessori education.

Toddlers
18 months to 3 years
Toddlers have unique needs for exploration, independence, and learning. Children in the Toddler Program work on toilet learning, language acquisition, gross motor development, and sensory development in a nurturing prepared environment.
Children’s House
3 to 6 years
Children’s House provides a nurturing environment for children ages 3 to 6. Children develop a sense of order, build independence and self-esteem, cultivate compassion and kindness, and emerge as well-rounded leaders.
Elementary
1st through 6th grade
The Elementary Program builds academic skills while honing curiosity, cultivating innovation, and building problem-solving skills. The curriculum from first through sixth grade encourages integrated research and exploration through hands-on materials, one-on-one lessons, and individualized academic challenges.
Adolescent Community
7th and 8th grade
Middle School is a time of great change; physically, psychologically, cognitively, and spiritually. At Greenspring Montessori School, we cherish this incredible age, supporting your adolescent as he enters adulthood.
