Welcome to Greenspring Montessori School! Finding the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child and we are here to support you on your journey. Our goal throughout the admissions process is to help provide you and your family with as much information as possible about the Montessori model and Greenspring Montessori School so that you may make an informed decision in selecting the best school for your child and family.

For families of children ages 18 months to three years old, please visit our Early Childhood Admission Process page to learn more.

For Enrollment in the 2025-26 school year

1. Attend an Information Session

Our Information Sessions will be offered live on our campus at 10807 Tony Drive, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 21093. Information Sessions are designed as a brief introduction to Montessori education. This two hour session offers a presentation on Montessori philosophy and our Elementary and Adolescent curriculum.

At least one parent or guardian is required to attend an Information Session prior to applying to Greenspring Montessori School.

Our next Admissions Events will be in fall of 2024. Please contact us to inquire about enrollment. We will let you know when our fall dates are published.

2. Attend an Observation Morning

Our Observation Mornings will be offered through a virtual session on Zoom.  At least one parent or guardian is required to attend an Observation Morning after attending an Information Session in order to be considered for admission. This event allows us to show you what a real morning looks and feels like in our Montessori classrooms.

A recent diagnostic assessment by a qualified professional which identifies the child’s needs within a learning environment is required. Periodic assessment may also be required during the school year and prior to re-enrollment. An educational assessment made during this time will determine the child’s progress and whether our environment supports the developmental needs of the child.
