Elementary and Adolescent Admission

For families interested in Elementary and Adolescent Programs (1st through 8th grade)

Welcome to Greenspring Montessori School! Finding the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make for your child and we are here to support you on your journey. Our goal throughout the admissions process is to help provide you and your family with as much information as possible about the Montessori model and Greenspring Montessori School so that you may make an informed decision in selecting the best school for your child and family.

Steps for Enrollment

Step 1. Attend an Information Session

Our Information Sessions will be offered live on our campus at 10807 Tony Drive, Lutherville-Timonium, MD 2109 and will run from 8:45-11:45am EST.

Information Sessions are designed as an introduction to Montessori education. This session offers a presentation on Montessori philosophy and our Elementary and Adolescent curriculum.  

At least one parent or guardian is required to attend an Information Session prior to applying to Greenspring Montessori School. 

Elementary & Adolescent Information Sessions:

• Friday, December 5, 2025 from 8:45-11:30am
• Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 8:45-11:30am

Our Elementary & Adolescent Information Sessions have concluded for the 2025-26 school year. To inquire about our Elementary and Adolescent Programs, please email Liz Stuckey at estuckey@greenspringmontessori.org. 

Step 2. Attend an Observation Morning

Our Observation Mornings will be offered through a virtual session on Zoom and will run from from 9:00-11:00am EST.

At least one parent or guardian is required to attend an Observation Morning after attending an Information Session in order to be considered for admission. This event allows us to show you what a real morning looks and feels like in our Montessori classrooms.

Upcoming Elementary & Adolescent Observation Mornings:

• Friday, December 12, 2025 from 9:00-11:00am
• Friday, April 10, 2026 from 9:00-11:00am

Step 3. Submit an Application for Admission

After attending an Information Session, you will be sent a link to our application. There is a $75 non-refundable application fee. Once your application has been received and processed, you will receive a checklist that guides you through the remainder of the admissions process.  Steps include submitting school records and recommendations and relevant evaluations, and participating in a parent interview, and, for children over the age of 4, a visit to one of our classrooms.

Admission Decisions and Notification

Admission decisions for the 2026-27 school year will start on February 19, 2026 for families who have completed our admissions process. We will operate on a rolling admissions basis after that date until our programs fill.
