Chris joined the Greenspring Montessori School community in 2022 as our Substitute School Nurse. She quickly fell in love with our community and decided to stay long-term when the opportunity became available.

Chris has over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, working with both adults and children ages 2 to 16. She started her nursing career as an adult critical care nurse at the University of Maryland Medical Center. She then switched to educational settings as a school nurse, pediatric cancer camp nurse, and health science educator.

In her free time, Chris enjoys playing pickleball, hiking with her dog, and attending music festivals with her husband.
