Anisa is the Science Guide in the Adolescent Communtiy at Greenspring Montessori School. She comes to us with an extensive background in scientific research medical science and public health, with specific training in how scientific research is shared with integrity. Before joining Greenspring, Anisa was a Program Manager at the Restoring Invisible and Abandoned Trials Initiative Support Center at the Pharmaceutical Health Services Research Department, School of Pharmacy, at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She is a published author and researcher.

Throughout her education and professional career, she has volunteered with the Junior Youth Spiritual Empowerment Program, a program for junior youth between the ages of 11-15, which helps to strengthen students’ moral, scientific, mathematical, and language capabilities through study of an integrated curriculum and through service to their local communities.

In her free time, Anisa enjoys going for walks with her family, cooking and trying new recipes, finding new coffee shops, and traveling.
