Bianca Van Horn is a Lower Elementary Guide at Greenspring Montessori School. Bianca began her Montessori Lower and Upper Elementary Training in the summer of 2022 and will be complete this year, 2024.  This year will be her third year as a Guide within the Mulberry classroom. She has been a beloved member of our community since coming in 2018 as a parent when her daughter started in our Toddler program. Bianca was eager to learn more about the Montessori method, implementing many of the practices at home with her daughter. She soon joined our community as a Toddler Dual Language Assistant and later transitioned to a Children’s House Dual Language Assistant. She is a Spanish speaker with a bachelor’s degree in both Spanish and Latin American Studies. After working in the classrooms for several years, Bianca decided to pursue her certification to become a Montessori Guide!

Bianca is also a 500 hour certified yoga instructor. She enjoys incorporating yogic philosophy and mindfulness into her teachings within the classroom.

Outside of school, Bianca enjoys spending time with her daughter Forrest, vegetable gardening, singing, and drawing.  She is a forever student and currently taking lessons in piano and guitar. Bianca is passionate about sharing her love for growing food and our connection to nature.
